How Subsea & Survey Equipment Rental Works
what to know before you mobilise scope, rates, certification and logistics
Take the instrument for the weeks you need it instead of committing six figures to an asset that stands idle between contracts.
Rental charges are a project cost that can be priced into the tender and recovered, rather than an overhead carried across the year.
Rent the model appropriate to the scope. You are not locked to a purchase decision made five years ago as the technology moves on.
Every rental is calibrated and certified before dispatch at our cost. No annual calibration budget and no instrument off the road for service.
Rent additional rovers, scanners or levels when workload peaks, and return them when it drops.
Rent an instrument against a live scope before committing to a purchase. Many clients use a short rental as an evaluation.

Survey equipment rental across the Eastern Province, Red Sea projects and inland infrastructure work.

Rental hub for hydrographic spreads, laser scanning and GNSS across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates.

Marine survey, dredge monitoring and port inspection equipment rental in and around Doha.

Land survey, laser scanning, GPR and geospatial equipment rental across the subcontinent.
Individual instruments by the day, week, month or project duration. Day, weekly and standby rates quoted separately so a campaign can be priced accurately.
Complete survey spreads specified, assembled, integrated and function-tested as one system, so mobilisation does not begin with days of integration work.
All instruments calibrated and function-tested before dispatch. Certification is dated, matched to the serial number and supplied with the equipment.
Delivery and collection to site, office or vessel from our regional bases, including transit cases, customs documentation and freight arrangement.
Individual antennas, receivers, sensors and cabling available on their own to complete an existing spread or replace a failed unit mid-campaign.
Telephone and remote support throughout the hire from survey engineers, with field service engineers available to attend site or vessel on request.
Submit the instruments required with quantities, mobilisation date, expected duration and the site, port or vessel of delivery. If you are unsure of the specification, describe the survey and the required deliverable instead.
Availability is confirmed and a written quotation issued within one working day, stating day, weekly and standby rates separately together with freight.
Equipment is function-tested and calibrated, certification issued against the serial number, and the instrument packed in transit cases for delivery.
Technical support is available throughout. Condition is documented on return and assessed against the record made at dispatch.
SurGeo Global mobilised a full multibeam spread to our vessel on 48 hours' notice — calibrated, tested, and supported by phone throughout the campaign.

The laser scanner arrived with current calibration certs and their engineer walked our team through integration. Zero downtime on site.

"Delivered a 100-ton crane to our Doha site on 24 hours' notice. The 2-hour SLA is real — it's not just marketing copy. Exceptional service."

A framework for deciding when hire beats capital expenditure.
Matching frequency, swath and resolution to the seabed and water depth.
Most instruments hire from one day, though a minimum of three to five days is typical once mobilisation and demobilisation are factored in. Integrated spreads such as the iWBMS normally hire by the week or for the project duration.
