Where we rent

Why Rent Survey Equipment

Survey instrumentation is expensive to own, depreciates while idle and is used intermittently. Renting converts that capital cost into a project cost you can price into a bid and recover from the client.
No Capital Outlay

Take the instrument for the weeks you need it instead of committing six figures to an asset that stands idle between contracts.

Rental Cost Sits in the Project

Rental charges are a project cost that can be priced into the tender and recovered, rather than an overhead carried across the year.

Current Generation, Every Rental

Rent the model appropriate to the scope. You are not locked to a purchase decision made five years ago as the technology moves on.

Calibration is Ours

Every rental is calibrated and certified before dispatch at our cost. No annual calibration budget and no instrument off the road for service.

Cover Workload Peaks

Rent additional rovers, scanners or levels when workload peaks, and return them when it drops.

Try Before You Buy

Rent an instrument against a live scope before committing to a purchase. Many clients use a short rental as an evaluation.

rental PERIODS

Rental Periods And Rates

We rent equipment on four bases. Rates are quoted in writing within one working day and stated separately so a campaign can be costed accurately.
DAILY RENTAL
Day Rate
For short scopes and short-notice cover. Applies to each day the instrument is in active use. A practical minimum of three to five days usually applies once mobilisation and collection are allowed for.
Weekly RENTAL
Weekly Rate
Discounted rate for continuous rental of seven days or more. The usual basis for a defined survey phase or a single contract.
Monthly RENTAL
Monthly Rate
For extended programmes and long-term rental. The lower rate applies automatically where an extension reaches the monthly band.
Standby
Standby Rate
Reduced rate for days the equipment is on site or on the vessel but not working — weather downtime, transit, or waiting on client access.

Where we rent

Why Rent Survey Equipment

Renting from SurGeo Global covers the instrument and everything needed to put it to work: specification advice, integration, calibration, delivery and technical support for the duration of the rental.
Instrument hire

Individual instruments by the day, week, month or project duration. Day, weekly and standby rates quoted separately so a campaign can be priced accurately.

Integrated spread supply

Complete survey spreads specified, assembled, integrated and function-tested as one system, so mobilisation does not begin with days of integration work.

Calibration & certification

All instruments calibrated and function-tested before dispatch. Certification is dated, matched to the serial number and supplied with the equipment.

Mobilisation & logistics

Delivery and collection to site, office or vessel from our regional bases, including transit cases, customs documentation and freight arrangement.

Component & spares hire

Individual antennas, receivers, sensors and cabling available on their own to complete an existing spread or replace a failed unit mid-campaign.

Technical support

Telephone and remote support throughout the hire from survey engineers, with field service engineers available to attend site or vessel on request.

Where we rent

How Rental Works

A quote-based process built around project scope, not a shopping cart.
Build a quote list

Submit the instruments required with quantities, mobilisation date, expected duration and the site, port or vessel of delivery. If you are unsure of the specification, describe the survey and the required deliverable instead.

Quotation

Availability is confirmed and a written quotation issued within one working day, stating day, weekly and standby rates separately together with freight.

Preparation and dispatch

Equipment is function-tested and calibrated, certification issued against the serial number, and the instrument packed in transit cases for delivery.

Hire Period And Return

Technical support is available throughout. Condition is documented on return and assessed against the record made at dispatch.
